Made For This Counseling

Therapy in Shorewood, Wisconsin and Virtually Statewide

At Made For This Counseling, we offer a warm and grounded space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Therapy is a place to explore what’s beneath the surface and begin healing from the inside out.We look at how your experiences, environment, and development all shape the way stress and pain show up in your life. Maybe it’s through overthinking, people-pleasing, or tension in your shoulders.

However it appears, it’s all connected—and it all matters.

Meet Sydney, LPC

I’m an anxiety and trauma therapist that specializes in changing and understanding people-pleasing and perfectionistic tendencies, healing from emotionally and psychologically abusive relationships, and processing unresolved childhood trauma and impactful family dynamics.

As a therapist, I approach my therapy sessions with consistent empathy and warmth because you deserve a space solely focused on you—free of judgment, always. My goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where your thoughts and feelings are welcomed and valued.

I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet you and your specific needs. My goal is to help you explore your experiences on a deeper level, understand and gain insight into the core beliefs that have shaped your life, build confidence and feel connected to your most authentic self.

“Sydney is amazing. She is someone who I have been comfortable opening up with from day one. She is warm and engaging. She has empathy and has been able to provide direction, tools, and techniques to help work through different things. She challenges in a way that is beneficial to me and needs to be done to better myself but is also always so kind about it and careful not to push too far. She is someone I would recommend to anyone.”
